Mag picks The Beast as best Ohio coaster

A Kings Island roller coaster has been named Ohio’s best in a new list from Popular Mechanics. The article names the best coaster in each state, and the classic wooden coaster named The Beast was picked for our state.

But the pick was apparently difficult for the editors. The PM staff wrote, “Easily the rollercoaster capital of North America, Ohio offers up enough top-flight coasters to fill its own top-50 list.” The best includes Cedar Point’s Steel Vengeance and Top Thrill Dragster, along with The Beast.

Guess you’ll have to try all three this summer to find out.
