When Forbes came out with its list of America’s top colleges, I thought a number of Ohio universities would make the top 20.

Kenyon College is Ohio’s top performer at No. 71, while Oberlin ranked 85th. Annual tuition at these schools is $30,504 and $31,331, respectively.

Case Western Reserve came in at No. 100, Ohio State at 121, Denison at 153 and University of Dayton at 165. View the list here.

According to Forbes, the ranking is based on schools that deliver the top academics, best experiences, career success and lowest debt. The list represents 15% of 4,300 degree-granting post-secondary institutions.
