Black-owned business: Westerville brothers marry soap and beer

by The 100 Companies

Based in Westerville, Ohio, brothers Talan and Taron Taylor founded Huckstle in 2018, a premium personal care company that sells beard balms, beard oils, mustache wax and soaps. The company name plays off of the “hucksters” or snake oil salesmen of the 1800s, but their products are no hoax.

All are fair trade, organic and ethically sourced without unnecessary additives and dyes. And their all-natural ingredients prevent dryness, itchiness and frizz while promoting hair growth and shine.

Check out their inventive hand-cut craft beer soap made with IPA and stout beers, created in collaboration with the local Land-Grant Brewing Company.
