• Columbus – Attend the city’s inaugural Latine/Hispanic Heritage Month Parade (“Latine” being more inclusive of native Spanish speakers) Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. A program follows, showcasing emerging Latine/Hispanic community leaders.
• Cincinnati – Celebrate at the Hispanic Heritage Festival Sept. 17 with music, dance, kids’ crafts, food and more. And, show your support all month by patronizing local Latino/Hispanic restaurants, including Argentinian, Peruvian, Guatemalan and Salvadoran food.
