Cleveland – Take a gastronomic tour of Central and South America at Barroco with authentic Latin American food, from Colombian arepas to Salvadorean pupusas (not to mention the eclectic vibe as well as live music).

Columbus – Attend the city’s inaugural Latine/Hispanic Heritage Month Parade (“Latine” being more inclusive of native Spanish speakers) Sept. 17 at 11 a.m. A program follows, showcasing emerging Latine/Hispanic community leaders.

Cincinnati – Celebrate at the Hispanic Heritage Festival Sept. 17 with music, dance, kids’ crafts, food and more. And, show your support all month by patronizing local Latino/Hispanic restaurants, including Argentinian, Peruvian, Guatemalan and Salvadoran food.
