As my twin grandsons, high school juniors, are into their college search, I am reminded of my own when my mom took my best friend and me to Virginia and Massachusetts. Lisa died unexpectedly in December, but our college trek seems like yesterday.
Apparently Tik Tok thinks I am looking for colleges, sending feeds about college essays, scholarships, SATs and applications. From Philadelphia, Collin and William are honor students, mindful that college admissions are competitive.
I hope whatever they choose fulfills them as much as Sweet Briar did me. I love watching their journey, reliving Lisa’s and my glory days.
