Food, festivals and a flag display for Memorial Day weekend

• Cleveland: Berea’s National Rib Cook-Off and Beer Fest has wings and brews galore May 27-30 at the Cuyahoga County Fair Grounds. Local and national rib teams compete for “Best Ribs,” “Best Sauce” and more. Entry is free for veterans and those in the military.

• Columbus: Riverfront Culture Fest comes alive May 23-26 with the Ohio Black Expo featuring music, art, food and more. Peruse over 100 vendors and 20+ food trucks, enjoy artisan drinks and hobnob with celebrities.

• Cincinnati: Pay tribute May 24-27 at The Arlington Memorial Gardens’ display of 1,000 U.S. flags to recognize veterans and active-duty personnel.
