Last month, April 22 marked the 54th annual celebration of Earth Day. The theme for 2024, Planet vs. Plastics, aims to educate people about the widespread health risks associated with plastics.
Here’s how to pitch in, 365 days a year:
• INVEST in a reusable glass or stainless-steel water bottle for on-the-go snacks and lunches.
• EMPLOY creative solutions like wax-coated cloth in place of plastic baggies and cling wrap.
• PACK your wares in a durable, washable and reusable tote.
• USE a cloth napkin or dish towel in lieu of disposable napkins.
Help phase out single-use plastics, one meal at a time.
