I visited Amsterdam 90 days ago and left wondering: Why don’t we protect our environment like the Dutch?
People of all ages zoomed along on bikes in well-marked bicycle lanes, shoulder to shoulder with traffic. There were a lot of car battery stations, and walking was encouraged. We enjoyed canal boat rides, which were clean, comfortable and got up close to the dwellings and shops. Taking electric trains was a joy. They were easy to use, we liked the experience and they were not terribly expensive.
Hey Ohio, let’s look at the Netherlands for clean transportation ideas.
