An iconic dairy brand is returning to Ohio after more than two decades. That’s because Borden is now distributing its products in the state after a 24-year absence. Borden milk was reintroduced in schools around Ohio last year and is now available at retailers throughout the state.
The company’s Elsie the Cow brand mascot was named one of the top 10 advertising icons of the 20th century by Ad Age and was recently given an updated look. The dairy plans to operate two plants in Ohio – one in Cincinnati and one in Columbus – that combined will have 350 employees.
