When I asked Sherrod Brown what Congress will do to support small business in the next few years, I wasn’t totally surprised by his response. But, as a small business owner, I was happy to hear what he had to say.
According to Sen. Brown, Congress is always looking at tax credits, although those issues aren’t entirely small business related. He doesn’t know what will come from the White House, however he’s evaluating lending issues. Getting access to lending and access to capital is important to small business. Additionally, he mentioned Congress is looking at ways to support smaller banks.
