If you live near the Columbus area, you have access to 19 natural area parks, with more than 230 miles of trails and over 27,700 acres of land in seven central Ohio counties. These areas are maintained by Columbus and Franklin Country Metro Parks.
About 11 million people enjoy outdoor time in the parks annually, and more than 180,000 participate in nature education programs at no cost.
