Walk to end Alzheimers

Here is a startling fact: An estimated 45% of American seniors 85 and older suffer from Alzheimer’s, according to the Alzheimer’s Association’s Facts and Figures report.

Looking for a way to help? The Alzheimer’s Association’s Lorain Walk to End Alzheimer’s takes place Sept. 21, 2019, at the Port Authority’s Black River Landing. Registration will begin at 8 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to help with set up, clean up, registration, water stops, promise garden, the T-shirt tent and much more. Volunteers will receive a T-shirt and snacks. Teams are also still forming. There’s time to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
