A Columbus flower shop endorses “community, change, and creativity”

Petals That Inspire is both a flower shop and social enterprise, founded by Amanda Greenwood in 2020.

Part of her profits from her special orders, pop-up shops, and flower arranging classes go toward supporting workforce development for those with barriers to employment. To further her mission, Greenwood partnered with Star House, a resource center for homeless youth in Columbus.

Every week, teens and young adults can participate in floral design classes, learning valuable skills like punctuality and communication while also forming bonds and building a vision for their future. Watching young people blossom is truly Greenwood’s “passion with a purpose.”
