Forbes has published its top 400 richest people in America list. If you took the time to read it, you probably noticed the names of some Ohioans.
At number 154, Les Wexner and family, hailing from New Albany, leads the Ohio list with $4.4 billion in net worth.
Clay Mathile finishes at 363, with $2.3 billion. This GM accountant became owner of Iams and sold it to Proctor & Gamble. He resides in Brookville, Ohio.
My take is it’s probably good to live in the state of California. There’s also a high level of philanthropy among our richest people. That’s good.
