Ohio kicks off TechCred

by The 100 Companies
TechCred

A recently launched program is helping Ohioans learn new skills in a technology infused economy. TechCred helps individuals achieve technology focused credentials that take a year or less to complete and helps Ohio companies fill much-needed tech job openings.

The new program fulfills a commitment made by Gov. Mike DeWine to fund the completion of 10,000 micro-degrees each year to help close the skills gap for growing technology jobs. TechCred links tech businesses with the talent they need and provides a path for employees to advance their own careers. It’s a win-win for Ohio. Online applications are now open.
