When The Ohio 100 conducted a poll asking readers whether they supported an Ohio to Chicago Hyperloop, our readers were in favor with just 14% voting against, and 78% favoring the project.
Based on other 100 publications, this poll generated the highest number of any survey in the past five years.
So, what’s happening now? A $1.2 million feasibility study has been underway through the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA). Great projects like this are worth the wait. Feasibility studies take up to one year, environmental impact statements take two and construction occurs, if funding is in place.
