Saint Ignatius middle school

Saint Ignatius

I knew Rev. Robert Welsh very well. He was not only president of Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland, he was my son’s Latin teacher. It was always Father Welsh’s dream to take the spirit of Saint Ignatius to inner-city kids.

Now, inner-city boys from sixth through eighth grade can attend free. The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast and ends at 5:30 p.m. Even if you aren’t Catholic, you’re welcome.

I am so proud. As men for others, we are helping boys from the city feel like they belong at Welsh Academy.
