Baseball relay from League Park to Progressive Field

Want to be part of a unique relay? On Saturday, June 8, baseball fans of all ages will line up along a 3-mile stretch and toss a baseball from historic League Park to modern-day Progressive Field. It’s all part of First Pitch of Summer, celebrating Cleveland’s rich baseball heritage.

“Bases” will be set up along the pitch route with refreshments and entertainment at each stop. The event begins at 10 a.m. with vendors, food trucks, games and displays at League Park. The event costs nothing, but you need to register to be part of the relay team.
