Several police departments around Ohio are participating in an awareness campaign called Light Ohio Blue, which shows support for law enforcement personnel who protect our Ohio communities.
Businesses and residents this month are encouraged to show their support for police officers who have died in the line of duty and those currently serving. Here’s how you can help Light Ohio Blue.
• Place a blue bulb in your porch light.
• Light up your home with blue floodlights.
• Place blue ribbons on your mailbox, columns or posts.
• Wear something blue this month.
• Tell your friends, family and neighbors about Light Ohio Blue.
