The ranking of the best children’s hospitals was recently published in U.S. News & World Report, and two Ohio hospitals are in the top 10. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is ranked No. 3 while Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus is ranked No. 7.
The top 50 medical centers are ranked in 10 specialties, including pediatric cardiology and heart surgery, pediatric cancer and pediatric orthopedics. Rankings were created from surveys to nearly 200 hospitals and 15,000 doctors who are pediatric specialists.
The Ohio hospitals earned points for being highly ranked in many specialties. Over 100 medical experts gave input.
