Ahoy, ship enthusiasts, mark July 11-14 on your calendars. That’s when the Tall Ships return to Cleveland during their summer-long cruise of the Great Lakes. Three ships will be available for Lake Erie cruises and you can board all of them with tickets.
Most are merchant ships but the U.S. Brig Niagara replicates a warship. The Niagara was Oliver Hazard Perry’s relief flagship at his victory over the British at Put-In-Bay, Ohio, during the War of 1812.
If you live or work close to the lake, watching the Tall Ships sail is fun and free.
