Ohio cities ranked as best places to visit this summer

Five Ohio cities are ranked among the 100 best destinations to visit this summer, according to a list compiled by financial institution WalletHub.

The methodology of the rankings was based on the most populated metro areas in the United States, analyzed with six criteria: travel costs and hassles, local costs, attractions, weather, activities and safety. Here is how cities in Ohio ranked:

16. Columbus

37. Cleveland

44. Dayton

67. Akron

The rankings help travelers decide “the perfect summer getaway” within their travel budgets. Each city was chosen to ensure that visitors stay busy and entertained throughout their visit.
