If you haven’t had a chance to check out the popular Asian Lantern Festival at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, you have until this weekend to get tickets. The event was originally scheduled to end in July, but demand allowed the zoo to extend the festival.
So far, more than 70,000 visitors have seen the 40 all-new, larger-than-life colorful lantern displays. You can also see live performances and walk through a 100-foot-long shark tunnel, a 30-foot-tall giant panda and an expansive display of Chinese pagodas. You can also taste Asian food and beverages.
