If you haven’t had a chance to check out the popular Asian Lantern Festival at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, you have until this weekend to get tickets. The event was originally scheduled to end in July, but demand allowed the zoo to extend the festival.

Saturday, Aug. 24, is Bike Buckeye Lake’s third annual Tour de Buckeye Lake cycling event. Riders choose between a 45-, 26- or 8-mile route circumventing Buckeye Lake. The 45- and 26-mile routes include a 4.1-mile stretch along the new Buckeye Lake Dam. The 45-mile route runs through picturesque Dawes Arboretum. The ride begins and ends at Buckeye Lake Winery, where there will be a post-cycling party with live music and local beers on tap.
