Cleveland:

Fitch’s Farm Market (Avon): The strawberries have broad appeal, but the pick-your-own tomatoes, peppers and beans are for the “serious cook.”

Greenfield Berry Farm (Peninsula): Pick blueberries and aronia berries (with numerous health benefits!) through August on this historic farm surrounded by woods in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Rittman Orchards (Doylestown): Get lost on 10 acres of strawberries, raspberries, black ra spberries and blueberries.

Columbus:

Lynd Fruit Farm (Pataskala): U-pick apples available as long as they last, plus peaches, berries and pumpkins.
