InnovateOhio helps streamline state offices

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said that InnovateOhio’s mission is to find ways the state can use technology to better serve residents and businesses at a lower cost. The new venture will also help to give everyone a better experience when interacting with state government.

The governor wants all state agencies, boards and commissions to adopt and use the platform to drive more shared services and save taxpayers money. Another goal is to develop a statewide broadband strategy to improve access to high-speed internet. State websites with higher levels of traffic will get first priority to use the new platform.
