This holiday season marks 14 years for the Dickens Victorian Village in Cambridge, Ohio.
Historic downtown transforms into the mid-19th century each Christmas, on Wheeling Avenue between 6th and 11th Streets, with Dickensian holiday scenes in shop windows and at each antique lamppost and bench. Lifesize mannequins – all created by local artists – greet you at each stop, clad in vintage clothing and representing classic literary scenes. Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit and Jacob Marley all await your visit.
Events are limited this year, but still scheduled are Victorian teas, the nightly Guernsey County Courthouse Light Show and trolley and cemetery tours.
