Nestled on the western edge of Ohio, the 752-acre John Bryan State Park is a destination rife for year-round exploration.
A remarkably deep cleft in the limestone, cut by currents in the Little Miami River, crafted the National Natural Landmark that is Clifton Gorge – which boasts a panoply of panoramas.
There are 10 trails for traversing (via foot or bike), a public rock climbing and rappelling area, plus access via public launch for paddlers. Scenic picnic areas, playgrounds and rustic campsites round out the family-friendly amenities.
Add all of Ohio’s 75 state parks to your bucket list, and get exploring.
