Next year, you can rise and shine and welcome the day at Wendy’s, the popular restaurant chain based in Dublin and started by Dave Thomas back in 1969.

Wendy’s announced this month that it will expand morning meal offerings nationwide to compete with rivals like McDonald’s, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Burger King, Dunkin’ Donuts and other chains. The menu will include many of its popular items adapted to breakfast, like Frosty cappuccinos, honey butter chicken biscuits and Breakfast Baconators.

The chain currently sells breakfast at 300 restaurants but plans to hire 20,000 people and invest $20 million for the upcoming nationwide rollout.
