If you are into tugboats, then the National Museum of the Great Lakes in Toledo has an event for you. Two tugboats named Ohio will be on public display and christened at the museum on Friday, June 21.
The museum has spent the last nine months restoring the 115-year-old tug Ohio, donated by Great Lakes Towing. That boat will be dedicated along with the new ice tug, also named Ohio. The ice tug will operate as part of the fleet across the Great Lakes.
You can reserve a bleacher seat for the ceremony and then tour the tugs.
