The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland will gain seven members next month following the 34th annual induction ceremony. The future Hall of Famers in the performers category are:
- The Cure
- Def Leppard
- Janet Jackson
- Stevie Nicks
- Roxy Music
- The Zombies
Traditionally, the voters include more than 1,000 artists, including current living inductees, historians and members of the music industry. Voters consider factors like length and depth of career, body of work and music innovation. The induction ceremony is slated for March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. HBO will broadcast the ceremony. Who’s next?
– Edward Stevens, Stevens Strategic Communications
I am thrilled for Stevie Nicks, the first woman ever to be inducted to the Hall of Fame twice – once with Fleetwood Mac, and now this year as a solo artist. Ms. Nicks is a supremely talented writer and performer, whose career has spanned more than half a century! She is the living definition of the word legend.
