Brews and brats at Oktoberfest Zinzinnati

by
oktoberfest zinzinnati

First held in 1976, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati has grown to become America’s largest Oktoberfest, where 650,000 visitors gathered last year in the Queen City. This year’s event is scheduled for Sept. 20-22 between Elm and Walnut Streets in the downtown area.

You won’t go hungry at the event, which showcases the German heritage in southwest Ohio. Last year, voracious visitors devoured 64,000 sauerkraut balls, 80,500 bratwurst, 56,000 sausages, 16,000 strudel and 3,600 pounds of sauerkraut.

Make sure you catch the Running of the Wieners, when 100 dachshunds race. There is live entertainment every day.
