Spend a day at the zoo

Did you know Ohio has more than 20 zoos and wildlife attractions, home to tens of thousands of animals? Many of our zoos support conservation projects worldwide.

The Columbus Zoo has nearly 10,000 animals representing more than 600 species from around the globe. It has a 22-acre water park and 18-hole Safari Golf Club.

Cincinnati Zoo was recognized by Parents magazine as one of the top 10 zoos for kids and has more than 500 animals and 3,000 plant species. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is known for its RainForest and its Primate, Cat and Aquatics Building.
