The 2019 Best & Worst States for Business survey captures poll results and feedback from CEOs across the country. Ohio moved up one ranking to No. 9 from 2018, according to the annual survey’s sponsor, Chief Executive magazine.
The Buckeye State continues to see strong growth in several different sectors including finance, manufacturing and logistics, according to the survey. Other notable accomplishments include Ohio’s focus on blockchain initiatives and the fact that 27 Fortune 500 companies are now headquartered in the state.
Also singled out as key incentives for business are the JobsOhio Growth Fund and the Job Creation Tax Credit.
