Cool off at Ohio Caverns

by
Ohio Caverns

There’s a unique place you can go this summer to relax in constant 54-degree temperatures. It’s Ohio Caverns in West Liberty, just northwest of Columbus.

This cool attraction bills itself as “America’s most colorful cavern.” The caverns are the largest in Ohio with more than two miles of passageways ranging in depth from 30 feet to 103 feet.

In the summer, you can take tours through two different parts of the caverns, first discovered in 1897. Each tour takes about one hour and is a great way for the whole family to discover a new world of underground beauty.
