This place is worth a tour. Military historians and veterans are praising the October 2018 opening of the National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus.
Officially designated by the federal government, the museum was named one of the 12 most anticipated buildings of 2018 by Architectural Digest. The striking museum is a tribute to the 40 million Americans who served this nation since its founding.
The Veterans Museum began with a vision from the late Ohio Sen. John Glenn, who wanted to preserve not only names, dates and battles, but the intimate memories of our veterans expressed in their words.
