Cleveland will host its first-ever Water Lantern Festival on June 15. The festival will bring hundreds of people together to watch the lanterns light up Lake Erie.
Over 1,000 lights will bob on the lake at Voinovich Park, 800 East 9th Street Pier, in Cleveland. All lanterns are made of wood and rice paper and are 100 percent eco-friendly.
At the festival, there will be food trucks, music and opportunities to design your own lantern. The Water Lantern Festival is making stops at dozens of cities across the country, many in Ohio, including Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati.
