Buckle up, kids. The Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland has created a special hands-on area to learn about cars. “Vroom! A Car Adventure” is now open through early September and lets kids tinker with car parts and play mechanic in a safe environment.
A garage area gives kids a chance to change a tire, replace the oil and swap out a muffler. Interactive displays show kids how brakes, shock absorbers and pistons work. They can also test reflexes and reaction time via a drag racing tree. It’s all created to make the science center more engaging to youngsters.
