The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023 with special events and exhibits throughout the year.
Kids will delight in the micro-drone race Feb. 24-26, where 16 pilots maneuver their flying micro machines around and through the C-124 Globemaster II aircraft in two-minute heats.
Visitors can watch the race along the course and on a large screen that will depict the race from the drones’ perspective. Guests can also fly a drone with a computer simulator or an actual one in a netted cage.
