Teams from cities that surround Lake Erie are working together to solve some of the lake’s most pressing problems. Erie Hack, led by the Cleveland Water Alliance, brings the best minds together to help to save one of our state’s most precious resources.
Besides Cleveland, cities taking part in Erie Hack include Toledo, Detroit, Erie, Buffalo and Windsor, Ontario. Teams include researchers, designers, engineers, developers and creative types to find solutions for a cleaner Lake Erie basin.
The collaboration has proven successful. In its first year in 2017, Erie Hack generated more than 40 solutions to Lake Erie’s water challenges.
