by Sally Schroder

Cincinnati: Cincy-Cinco (May 3-4) is home to the longest taco and the largest piñata in the world. Visit Fountain Square for Latino music, dance and authentic cuisine, from Colombian arepas and Puerto Rican mofongo to Honduran ceviche.

Cleveland: Reggae Fest takes place May 24-25 with bands from roots to modern, food trucks with a Caribbean/Jamaican theme, craft beer and beverages. Ticket sales benefit the Jamaican Peace Corps.

Columbus: The Ohio Black Expo: Riverfront Culture Fest + Convention (May 24-25) features over 100 Black-owned vendors. The event offers workshops, networking and a celebration of Black culture along with food and music.
