Ohio was one of the top states for corporate expansions last year with several cities landing multiple projects, according to Site Selection magazine’s widely watched annual rankings.
Site Selection’s annual report tracking new and expanded business facilities put Ohio in the No. 2 spot for total projects. The state’s 454 new projects ranked second to Texas.
The state was third in projects per capita, which makes Ohio the only state to place in the top three of both categories. The publication noted that businesses are consistently choosing Ohio communities of all sizes as a preferred destination for investment and growth.
