Columbus Crew season kicks off

If you’re a fan of soccer, then make sure to catch a Columbus Crew match at MAPFRE Stadium. The Crew kicked off its 2019 season and will play 17 home games over the spring and summer. The Crew is one of 24 teams that comprise Major League Soccer.

Future plans have the team playing in a new stadium by the start of the 2021 season. With 20,000 seats, the Columbus Crew arena will roughly match the seating capacity of the present stadium, while adding 30 suites and 30 loge boxes. Soccer is here to stay in our capital city.
