Major cities like New York and Chicago are destination stops for art lovers, but now Cincinnati can lay claim as a top art region as well. That’s because it ranks No. 8 out of 50 cities cited in a study by Apartment Guide.
Several metrics were used, including ratio of art galleries and dealers, art museums, art supply stores and art organizations in relation to population. Turns out, Cincinnati has one art institution per 2,532 residents.
This study cites places like the Cincinnati Art Museum and its 88 galleries, the Taft Museum of Art and the Contemporary Arts Center.
