Celery juice – overhyped or miracle elixir?

celery juice

Celery juice is clearly having its 15 minutes of fame. This health trend is touted as being transformative to your health – clearing problematic skin, aiding digestion, lowering blood pressure and detoxifying your liver.

I drank celery juice every morning for a week. My results? Certainly nothing life-altering. I did feel more hydrated and my skin took on a glow.

I purchased celery from a local grocer ($3.99 per 16 ounces) and made my own juice. It cost more than a cup of coffee, but I like the taste and the skin benefits so I will keep drinking it.
