Black History Month comes alive in Ohio

Cincinnati: Charles White is one of the 20th century’s most significant African American artists. Explore his work, which speaks to tolerance and compassion, at the Cincinnati Art Museum through Sunday, Feb. 25.

Cleveland: History on Tap: A Celebration of Black Culture through Music – Feb. 15 at the Western Reserve Historical Society – celebrates the city’s iconic beats with activities and discussions, plus carousel rides and swag.

Columbus: Black History Festival 2024 runs Feb. 22–24 at the Columbus Airport Marriot. The event will foster “collaboration and alignment of shared interests between Africa, the Americas and other bilateral partners” around trade, culture and history.
