In addition, the park district and coalition have engaged Aqua Doc for an in-depth analysis of nutrient levels. That report not only indicates the lake can be saved, it suggests directions to be considered.
A startup company is partnering with the park district on new bioreactor technology that may help manage algae. Early reports are encouraging.
