Arena football back in Columbus

The Ohio State Buckeyes are the big football show in town, but another team is kicking off … for the second time. Columbus is once again going to have an Arena Football League team, starting this spring. As fans recall, the Columbus Destroyers were part of the AFL from 2004-2008. Well, the Destroyers are back!

The new team and schedule has been announced. Home games – part of a 12-game schedule – will be played at Nationwide Arena.

The AFL started 32 years ago and, in 2019, will have teams in Albany, Atlantic City, Columbus, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
